1. Installing StareLock

Download and extract the StareLock.zip file from our website.

Inside, you’ll find:

• StareLock.jsx

• StareLock.ffx

• installer.bat (for automatic setup)

Option 1: Using the Installer (Recommended)

• Run installer.bat from the extracted folder
• Enter your After Effects version (e.g., 2020) when prompted
• The installer will place files in the correct location automatically
• Restart Adobe After Effects

Go to File > Scripts > StareLock.jsx to run the script.

Scripts opened from File > Scripts are not dockable panels

Option 2: Manual Installation

• Copy StareLock.jsx and StareLock.ffx and paste here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2020\Support Files\Scripts

• Restart Adobe After Effects
• Go to File > Scripts > StareLock.jsx to run the script

Use this method only if the installer does not work on your system
