Scripts Are Not Running
Make sure the Bridge is running in the system tray
Ensure the Monitor panel is open and monitoring is started
Confirm After Effects is open and a project is active
Check that the Browser Client is enabled on the current site
If any one of these components is inactive, scripts will not execute.
Bridge Is Not Detected
Launch RunScript Bridge manually
Check the system tray to confirm it is running
Restart the Bridge if needed
Restart After Effects and try again
The Bridge must be running for scripts to reach After Effects.
Monitor Panel Not Visible
Restart Adobe After Effects
Open the panel via Window → RunScript Monitor
Re-run the installer if the panel does not appear
Make sure the ScriptUI panel was installed correctly.
Port 3737 in Use
Close any other applications that may be using the port
Restart the Bridge
Restart your system if the issue persists
Only one instance of the Bridge can run at a time.
Scripts Run Multiple Times
Enable Don’t Run Again in the Browser Client
Disable Autopilot Mode temporarily
Review scripts before sending them again
This usually occurs during rapid testing or iteration.
Nothing Happens After Clicking Run
Check the Browser Client status
Ensure the Bridge is active
Verify that monitoring is not paused
Most issues are caused by one of the components not running.
If problems persist, restarting the Bridge and After Effects usually resolves connection-related issues.
