Troubleshoot

Solutions to common issues users may encounter. Includes diagnosis tips and recommended fixes to ensure a smooth experience.

Common Questions

Q: My animation looks choppy. What can I do?
A: Try using the Isolator to remove unnecessary keyframes, then apply the Smoother. Make sure you have created distinct lip shapes for all 10 poses.

Q: Can I use Syncface with multiple characters in the same composition?
A: Yes! You can generate separate "Syncface Data" layers for each character and use the "Link Data" feature to connect them to their respective "Syncface Master" layers.

Q: Why isn't my character reacting to the audio after generating data?
A: Ensure that the "Syncface Master" layer and "Syncface Data" layer are properly linked. If they aren't, use the "Link Data" button to manually connect them. Also, check that your audio layer is properly imported and not muted.

Q: Can I customize the viseme shapes after importing?
A: Absolutely! You can edit the "Syncface Master" layer in After Effects to tweak the viseme shapes. Just make sure to maintain the same number of shapes and keep the layer structure intact.

Q: Is Syncface compatible with other animation tools or plugins?
A: Syncface is designed to work seamlessly within Adobe After Effects. While it can be used alongside other plugins, ensure there are no conflicts with layer naming or keyframe manipulation
