API Key Management

BringScript uses your API key to securely connect with supported AI models. Managing your key is quick, flexible, and private.

During Setup

You’ll be asked to enter your API key when configuring BringScript for the first time.

Go to Settings → API Provider → Enter Key

Updating Your API Key

You can update or change your key anytime:

1. Open the BringScript Settings panel

2. Select your preferred provider (like Gemini or OpenRouter)

3. Paste your new API key

4. Click Save Changes

You can switch keys or providers anytime without interrupting your workflow.

Security Tip

BringScript encrypts and stores your API key locally using FDR-1 Secure Local Storage standards.

Your key is only used temporarily to send the request during script generation.

Pilotfront never stores, logs, or shares your API key. Your data stays private and secure at all times.

Supported Providers

More providers are coming soon. BringScript is built to stay open and adaptable.

Switching API Providers

Want to try a different model or switch to a backup provider? Here's how:

1. Open Settings → Provider dropdown

2. Select another supported AI provider

3. Paste in the new API key if needed

4. Save and continue your work
